Here are some frequently asked questions and answers
for people who are thinking about visiting us for the first time.

 

What should I wear?
   You are welcome to come in whatever makes you comfortable. On any given day there will be great variety from shorts to jeans to "business casual".

Is there Religious Education for Children?
   It has been said that the greatest gift we can give to our children are "roots and wings". Providing a Unitarian Universalist religious education program for children is our top priority and children are welcome to any and all events!!!
   Classes are held during services. There is a class for for ages 3 through 12. There is daycare for younger children. Teens attend the services.

How do I get there?
   Address and a map to the location.

What are the services like?
   Our services usually include the following items:
Welcome to members and visitors.
A short opening and welcoming statement.
Chalice lighting
A few hymns
A reading or two
A sermon
Closing words

   We may omit some of these at some gatherings.

Are all people welcome in this congregation?
   We welcome all who come to our worship in the spirit of goodwill and mutual respect. We impose no creed as a test for membership. We hold no doctrine as absolute. We affirm the dignity of all persons. We affirm the continuing search for truth and for deeper understandings of the good. We affirm that there is mutual strength in willing cooperation, and the bonds of love keep open the gates of freedom. We welcome all who wish to join with us in this spirit.
